Wow, I really slept here at the edge of the North Sea. After long days’ travel from a great first gig in Burlington VT, I’ve made Aberdeen, Scotland. To my dad’s chagrin, I didn’t have time to go up the coast to see where Local Hero was made this go round.
Coming off a surreal week at the Shetland Folk Festival, I’m now heading to Glasgow and Shrewsbury and many new places to me in England over the next couple weeks. The grass is green and the wind is fresh.
Heading home at the end of month and intending to deer proof and attend to the garden and await the arrival of baby number three! Two and one on the way could be a tally of drinks, but we’ll have three kids under he age of two in a month.
I have a bunch of great summer gigs and festivals to look forward to including Lunenburg, Indian River, Ottawa Blues Festival, Ness Creek and the Milwaukee Irish Festival as well as Bristol Rhythm and Roots. Most will be with the wonderful Sideman Hunt.
Also hoping to make a second music video. This time for I am fine.
